Larry L. Clevenger

Mr. Larry L. Clevenger Age 70,of Cooper passed away peacefully to be with family and friends in Heaven on November 20, 2012. He was born July 2, 1942 in Hillsdale, MI, the son of the late Howard and Virginia Clevenger. He retired as an automotive and truck technician from Daleidans in 2008 and then worked part-time in small engine repair for General Rental in Kalamazoo. He was also a welder and fabricator; he could repair anything mechanical: RV’s, buses, semi-trucks, and automobiles both foreign and domestic. Larry will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He was preceded in death by beloved grandparents David and Lilah Schlegal, who raised Larry and his sister, brothers David Wayne, Donald L., and Rick Westfall, and granddaughter Lindy Brown. On August 7, 1998 he married Janice Fulbright who survives. Also surviving are son Mark of Odessa, TX, daughters Lori (John) Brown of Odessa, TX, Tammy Brown of Galesburg, MI, and Angela Clevenger of Kalamazoo; stepsons Robert Leslie and Jerry (Sherry Lynn) Fulbright, Jr., both of Kalamazoo, stepdaughter Tammy (William) Reckart of Pangburn, AR; sister Bonnie (Larry) Ruppert of Lakeland, FL, brother Mark (Debbie) Clevenger of TX; special aunt Donna Tonkel of Reading, MI, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday, November 24 from Noon-1PM at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East G Ave., 269-349-7735, where services will begin at 1PM, pastor Jeff Schmitt officiating. Interment follows in East Cooper Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Borgess VNA/Hospice Services.
