Sr. Joyce Ann DeSHANO, CSJ Of St. Clair Shores, MI Passed away Friday, December 21, 2012. Sister Joyce was born March 4, 1939 in Flint, MI, the daughter of Louis and Pauline (Breaugh) DeShano. She was a member of the Congregation of St. Joseph since September 1, 1958. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bob. She is survived by her siblings Donald DeShano of Granger, IN, John DeShano of San Rafael, CA, Paula Androsky of Flint, MI, Mary Pollock of Houston, TX, and Lois Lawrence; sister-in-law Carole DeShano; dear friends Sr. Joann DiMercurio, CSJ and Sr. Mary Ann Wyllie, CSJ; many nieces and nephews, and the Congregation of St. Joseph. Friends will be received Thursday, December 27 from 3 to 7PM at Holy Family Chapel, Nazareth, MI, where a Vigil Service will begin at 7PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 28 at 10:30AM at Holy Family Chapel, Fr. Bill Petron, celebrant. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Nazareth.
