Darrell Harold Hill

Darrell H. Hill "Bam Bam", passed away Wednesday Jan. 8, 2014 at Borgess Medical Center. He was born May 13, 1958 in Kalamazoo the son of Darrell and Marjorie (Blodgett) Hill. Darrell was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed Hunting and spending time with his family. On June 23, 1990 in Kalamazoo Darrell was united in marriage to Kelly Burrell who survives. Also surviving are 3 daughters, Amber (James) Meyers of Mendon, Ashley D. Hill of Kalamazoo, Tianna Yates of Erie, PA; son Jason T. Hill of Kalamazoo; mother, Marjorie Gregg of Phoenix, AZ; 3 sisters, Venisa (Gregg) Peterson of Ludington, Carol, Jackson of Phoenix, AZ, Margaret Hill of Indianapolis, IN; 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Hill; son, Jamie D. Hill; sister, Ginger Hill. Friends are being received Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008 (269) 343-6156, where services will be held on Monday at 1 pm. Lunch to follow services at Salvation Army at 1700 S. Burdick, Kalamazoo.
