Anne Katherine Morris

Anne K. Morris of Portage, surrounded by loving family, Anne passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Anne was born April 11, 1930 in Detroit, the daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth (Kay) Stadler. On October 1, 1949, in Fenton, MI, Anne was united in marriage to Robert D. Morris, who preceded her in death in 1974. Her eclectic careers included Avon (district manager), real estate, Kal-Aero, and human resources at Radisson Plaza Hotel. An avid researcher of family genealogy, Anne brought exuberance and passion for living to her family and friends. She enjoyed her community of friends over the last year at Crossroads Village Apartments. Surviving are four sons, David (Frank Minervini) Morris of Grand Rapids, Ron (Jan) Morris of Portage, Robert Jr. (Mary) Morris of Kalamazoo, Tom (Jeff Pine) Morris of Santa Fe, NM; two daughters, Mary (Jerry) Myeno of Kalamazoo, Grace (Harley) Franks of Portage; brother, Donald (Yolanda) Stadler of Stuart, FL; daughter-in-law, Joan (Jack) Guinther of Portage; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brother, Russell Stadler, of Fenton. Friends will be received 10-11 am Saturday, April 11, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 am.
