Joyce M. Pominville

Joyce M. Pominville of Kalamazoo Passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Joyce was born April 30, 1929 in Garland, NC the daughter of Oliver and Madgalene (Butler) Sandy. She was a graduate of Camp LeJeune High School, retired from Dr. Joseph Bruno's office in 1991 and was a member of Northeastern Baptist Church. She was untied in marriage to Herbert A. Pominville who preceded her in death in 1979. Surviving are a daughter, Laura (Brad) Gibson of San Diego; two sons, Dale (Lisa) Pominville of Plainwell, Dean (Lisa) Pominville of Parchment; three grandchildren, Alexander, Nicholas, Darren; sister, Vicky (Rodney) Taylor of North Carolina; six brothers, Oliver (Dixie) Sandy of North Carolina, Harold Sandy of North Carolina; Edward (Grace) Sandy of North Carolina, Frederick Sandy of North Carolina, Glen (Pat) Sandy of Detroit, Wayne (Shirley) Sandy of North Carolina; daughter in law, Tami Pominville of Ft. Meyers, FL. She was preceded in death by a son Harry E. Pominville and a sister, Linda Dixon. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East "G" Ave. Parchment, MI 49004 (269) 349-7735 where services will be held Thursday at 1 pm.
