Mildred R. "Millie" Pike passed away Wednesday, August 05, 2015 at Director’s Hall. Millie was born July 2, 1916 in Marcellus the daughter of Marcus and Isadora (Maines) Switzer. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Sodality, Volunteered for the Battle Creek V.A. Medical Center since 1957, and Past commander of Kalamazoo Navy Mothers #366. She was united in marriage on December 29, 1936 to Raymond Pike who preceded her in death on April 24, 2002. Surviving are seven sons, Fred (Beverly) Pike of Sun City, FL, Ralph (Nancy) Pike Of Kalamazoo, Joseph Pike of Kalamazoo, Donald (Jackie) Pike of Portage, Charles Pike of Kalamazoo, Phillip (Lynne) Pike of Portage, Jim (Kathe) Pike of Kalamazoo; three daughters, Mary Stewart of Kalamazoo, Judi Pike of Billings, MT, Catherine (Simon) Jones of Mt. Juliet, TN; 28 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Ray Pike, Jr., great-grandson, Jesse Sallee; daughter in law, Becky Pike; one sister and two brothers. Friends are being received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East "G" Ave. Parchment, MI 49004 (269) 349-7735 where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
