Sr. Joanne Gibbons, CSJ

Sister Joanne Gibbons, CSJ of Nazareth, passed away, Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Fontbonne Manor. Sister was born February 25, 1930 in Detroit the daughter of John and Clara (Nolta) Gibbons. She was a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph. Surviving is a brother, John (Evelyn) Gibbons; nieces, Kathy Copp, Debby Cable, Sue DeBash; nephew, Joseph Eisenschenk; aunt, Betty Tuz; cousins, Jim Nolta, Alice Debeau; dear friends, Sr. Lynn Roebert, CSJ & Fr. Mike Roebert. Friends will be received at Nazareth Center Tuesday, September 1, 2015 after 4 pm. A Vigil service will be held Tuesday 7 pm in Holy Family Chapel where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Wednesday 10:30 am. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
