Mary Johanna Holewai

Mary J. Holewai of Kalamazoo passed away Wednesday November 4, 2015 at Heartland of Kalamazoo. Mary was born May 24, 1925 the daughter of Jakob and Tekla (Zajac) Holewai. She retired from Bemo Potato Chip Company. Surviving are two sisters, Cecilia Cosby of Kalamazoo, Julia Havens of Troy; 13 nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Rose Romanak, Ann Sharp and Helen Whitney. Graveside services were held at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. The family wishes to thank Heartland lower level and Hospice of S/W Michigan for their care & concerns for Mary.
