Lois Barbara Spann

Lois Barbara (Daniel) Spann of Kalamazoo, passed away peacefully at home in the presence of her family on January 12, 2016. Lois was born May 7, 1926 to Adolph and Mable Daniel (Enyeart). She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Paul Spann. She is survived by her son Mark Spann, and her twin daughters, Ronda Spink and Renee’ Hellner – spouse Gregory Hellner; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was the owner of Spann Dance Studio and taught for 60 years. She was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where she helped work on the Harbinger newsletter, Braille ministry, and was a member of the Altar Guild. She was cremated and a memorial visitation will be held 10-11 am Saturday January 16, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church where a memorial service will be held following at 11 am. Memorial contributions may be directed to Southern Care Hospice, Portage, Michigan. A later graveside for both, Lois and Paul Spann, will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery on June 17, 2016 at 10am. Arrangements by Redmond Funeral Home 4100 S.
