William Pineda

William Pineda of Kalamazoo, passed away Sunday January 17, 2016 at Medilodge of Portage. William was born August 1, 1947 in Lake Odessa the son of Manuel and Rosa (Martinez) Pineda. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. On October 19, 1996 in Battle Creek William was united in marriage to the former Belinda Kerr who survives. Also surviving are two sons Terry Kerr of Kalamazoo, Fidel (Beth) Rodriguez of Kalamazoo; daughter, Jamie Kerr of Gaylord; brother, Joseph M. (Pam) Pineda of Gobles; three sisters, Elba Pineda of Kalamazoo, Lupe Pineda of Kalamazoo, Martha Gutierrez of Kalamazoo; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; beloved dogs, Oz and Honey. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kaylie; two brothers, George and Rudy Pineda. Friends are being received Thursday January 21, 2016 1-3 pm at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East "G" Ave. Parchment, MI 49004 (269) 349-7735 where a Rosary will be recited at 2:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
