Donald Herbert Boot

Donald H. Boot of Texas Twp. passed away January 10, 2016 at home. Don was born in Kalamazoo on April 12, 1930 the son of Adrian an Marguerite (Mittan) Boot. He was a production Planner at Upjohn Co. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Tin Lizzy Travelers and Kiwanis Club. Don is survived by his wife Mary Jane whom he married Oct. 27, 1956. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jane Marie Boot Osowski and has two remaining children: Mary & (David) Bryk of Grosse Pointe, MI and Dan & (D'anna) Boot of Mt. Prospect, IL, 6 grandchildren; and siblings: Barbara Thompson of Portage, Jack Boot of Kalamazoo, Martha Badalamenti of Portage and Jim Boot of St. Ignatius, MT.; along with several nieces & nephews. Memorial Mass will be celebrated February 6, 2016 at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rev. Msgr. Michael Hazard celebrant.
