Betty Jean Thrasher

Betty Jean Thrasher of Portage passed away Tuesday February 14, 2017 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Betty was born June 2, 1932 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Glen and Mary (Stephenson) McGuire. She retired from Bronson Hospital where she was employed in Environmental Services. She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Thrasher and a brother, Robert McGuire. Surviving are her children: Vernon (Sue) Bradshaw, Mary Lou Stone, Verna Jean Cook, Larry Bradshaw, Kenneth Bradshaw, Richard Bradshaw, Sr., Robert (Carrie) Bradshaw; brothers, Glen (June) McGuire, Givel McGuire; many grand and great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Friends are being received 11am – 1:30pm at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo. Services will be held following at 1:45pm at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
