Linda Rae McCormick

Linda Rae McCormick of Plainwell passed away Friday February 24, 2017 at Borgess Medical Center. Linda was born March 31, 1943 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Gratus and Katherine (Whipple) Shewmake. She was employed in food service for Parchment School District and Allegan Co. Jail she enjoyed her friends and loved traveling. In 1978 in Kalamazoo Linda was united in marriage to Clifford McCormick who preceded her in death in 1998, also preceding her was her son Tom Darrow in 2017. Surviving are her three sons, James (Lynette) Darrow of Kalamazoo, Kevin Darrow of Portage, Kurt (Jody) Darrow of Portage; sister, Sandy Biggin of Lansing; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 nieces & nephews. Friends will be received 11am – 1pm, Saturday March 4, 2017at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo where services will be held at 1pm for Linda and her beloved son Tom Darrow. Interment will be in Mt.
