Ruth L. Cipriano

Ruth Cipriano of Portage passed away March 15, 2017. Ruth was born in Jackson, MI on May 20, 1921 the daughter of Wilfred and Jenny (Driuf) Wheater. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Cipriano on August 4, 1987, 2 sons: Jeffrey in 1955 and Frank in 2010. Ruth is survived by 2 children: Sharon Cipriano Galbreath of Parchment and Michael Cipriano of Kalamazoo, 12 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday March 23 from 6 until 8pm at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge, Kalamazoo, MI 49008. (269) 343-6156. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:30 am March 24, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Msgr. Michael Hazard Celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Ever – Rest Memorial Park.
