Barbara Jean Keech

Barbara Jean Keech, 82 of Kalamazoo, passed away on September 23, 2020 at her granddaughter Jeanie’s home. Barbara was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Jack and Dorothy (Galbreath) Flora on December 19, 1937. During her time in the work force, Barbara was a bookkeeper for L.D. Dosca Construction. Barbara was a woman of faith; she was a member of the Kalamazoo Disciples of Christ. She enjoyed bowling and going to plays and concerts in the park. Barbara was a foster grandparent in the Kalamazoo school system for 11 years. Preceding Barbara in death are her parents Jack and Dorothy; and her two brothers Clyde and Harold Flora. Surviving are her four children; Pamela Dolnik of Kalamazoo, Teresa Bailey of Kalamazoo, Karen (Joseph Elmer) Hoffman of Rose City, MI, Lois (Peter) Bobchin of Sayreville, NJ; nine grandchildren Jason, Rhonda, Ronnie, Jeanie, Robbie, Dylan, Donovan, Kathy, Kelly; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother Jim (Norma) Flora; sister-in-laws Bonnie Flora, Gladys Flora; and several nieces & nephews. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Ever Rest on Monday, September 28, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Masks are required. Memorial donations may be made to the Kalamazoo Disciples of Christ Church.
