Betty Jane Peebles

Betty Jane Peebles 74 of Kalamazoo passed away Sunday November 21, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital. Betty was born June 28, 1947 in Detroit the daughter of Robert and Agnes (Miller) Barkman. She was a 1966 graduate of Loy Norrix High School and she enjoyed flower gardening, baking and feeding the squirrels. On February 10, 1968 in Kalamazoo Betty was united in marriage to Rodger Peebles who survives. Also surviving are three children, Rodger (Angela) Peebles, Jr., Daynon (Melissa) Peebles, Dawn (Jason) Brady; two sisters, Sadie Payne, Barbara (Tim) Sitar; brother, Reinnier VanBruggen, Jr.; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Reinnier VanBruggen, Sr; brother, Robert Barkman; sister, Sandra Bennett. Friends are being received 11am – 12 pm Friday November 26, 2021 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home where services will follow at 12 pm. Interment will be in Ft.
