Bonnie Lee Dreisbach

March 6, 1942 — December 9, 2021

Bonnie Lee Dreisbach of Kalamazoo, passed away on December 9, 2021 after a brief illness. She was born in Kalamazoo on March 6, 1942, the daughter of Harold L. & Lila M. (Baldwin) Dreisbach. After graduation Bonnie spent a few years living in San Diego, however she always loved Michigan weather and soon returned to Kalamazoo. She spent most of her career working as a Bookkeeper for Burnham & Flower Insurance. She was involved for many years as a volunteer, especially enjoying her time with the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre. After retirement, she mostly enjoyed seeing the world and travelling with good friends, especially on long cruises. As the years progressed Bonnie enjoyed spending mostly quiet time alone with her beloved cats, listening to jazz & classical music. She was an avid reader of literature, mysteries, suspense, Victorian novels and travel books. Bonnie was preceded in death by several close friends, both of her parents in 2005 and brother Richard Dreisbach (Elizabeth) in 2019. Bonnie is survived by her brother David (Lyn) Dreisbach, sister- in-law Elizabeth Dreisbach, nephew Brent (Jane) Dreisbach, niece Liz (Jack) McComb, step nieces Stacie (Chad) Martin, Amy (Alex) Dominguez, several great nieces, nephews and cousins. Interment of remains will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, with a memorial to be held at a later date.
