Carol Joy Buyce

Carol Joy Buyce 79 of Portage passed away Sunday November 21, 2021 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Carol was born September 8, 1942 in Vicksburg the daughter of Donald and Ruth (Knauss) Fritz. She graduated from Vicksburg High School and worked for Plastic Engineering in Portage. Carol enjoyed bird watching, going to garage sales, word search books, watching TV evangelists, Bible study, listening to Christian music and spending time with her family. Surviving are three children, Don (Kathy) Buyce, Dina Waggoner, Melonie (Mike) Stewart; 6 grandchildren, Ashley and Cody Buyce, David Eugene Waggoner, Hannah Ruth Deal, Justin and Kylie Stewart; two great-grandchildren, Bradley and Natalie Buyce; sister, Shirley Moe (has since died on June 25th, 2022); several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald & Ruth Fritz, and three sisters, Donita Fritz, Mary Jo Walker and Marilyn Borton. Friends will be received 6-7 pm Friday July 15, 2022 at Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo. Interment will be at a later date in Fulton Cemetery. www.redmondfuneralhomes.net
