Caroline Louise Cleland

Caroline Louise Cleland passed away January 10, 2018. She was born November 8, 1930 in Kalamazoo, Michigan the daughter of Paul and Minna Mursch. She worked for her brothers at Mursch Ice and Coffee Shop for 16 years, and then retired from Upjohn after 25 years. She was a lifetime member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers Paul, Robert, Lawrence, and Arthur, and her beloved husband James in 2001, and daughter Joanne Ritter in 2017.  Surviving are her children Richard and Michael Ritter; grandson Steven McGuire Jr.; brother Ronald (Joan) Mursch; and several nieces and nephews.  Family will have a private service at a later date. Interment will be at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  Memorials may be made to West Michigan Cancer Center or Hospice of SouthWest Michigan.
