Dennis Allen Boylan

Passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Vibra Hospital Amarillo, TX. Dennis was born September 1, 1947 the son of Robert and Mary (Klobucher) Boylan. Dennis grew up in Parchment, MI. After completing eighth grade in 1961 Dennis left home to enter the seminary to fulfill his lifelong calling to be a Catholic priest. On May 18, 1974 Dennis was ordained in to the Catholic priesthood by Bishop Paul V. Donavan. He served as a parish priest throughout southwest Michigan in the 1970’s and 1980’s. Dennis later moved to Texas to be a parish priest there. More recently Dennis had been living in Amarillo, TX. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his sister, Kay (Robert) Rafferty, his niece Kimberly, and many cousins. He is also survived by an amazing “family” of friends who have been so supportive. Friends will be received 9:30 to 10:30 am Saturday February 3, 2018 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church where a memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1030 am. Interment will be at a later date at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
