Dorothy Jane Gates 67 of Comstock passed away Wednesday June 30, 2021 at home. Dorothy born August 2, 1953 in Charleston, MS the daughter of Louis and Rita (Lang) Gentry. She enjoyed puzzles, watching TV and coloring. Surviving is her mother Rita Sparks; three children, Michael (Reenee) Gates, David Gates, Robert (Katie) Gates; nephew, Gary (Michelle) Kamrowski; niece, Trisha (Jeramiah) Fick; two brothers, Thomas (Sandy) Gentry, Wayne Gentry; two sisters, Judy (Keith) Zebra, Bonnie (Bubba) James; special cousins, Ruby Ann Smith, Carrie Blades; 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Louis Gentry and step-father, William Sparks. A memorial gathering will be held at the home of her mother Rita Sparks, 11 Fullerton Ave. Galesburg, MI 49053 at Noon, Saturday July 10, 2021.
