Elzora Wagner

Elzora “Ellie” Wagner 93 of Kalamazoo passed away Saturday June 26, 2021 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Ellie was born May 27, 1928 in Battle Creek the daughter of Robert and Ruth (Boyce) Leiter. She was a member of Parchment United Methodist Church, Founding member of the Friends of the Library in Parchment and she enjoyed quilting, cooking and especially playing bridge. She was also member of the Parchment Garden Club. On March 27, 1947 in Battle Creek, Ellie was united in marriage to Robert Wagner who preceded her in death on November 15, 2014. Surviving are three children, Scott Wagner of Ft. Wayne, Susan (Keith) Meyering of Grand Rapids, Diane (John) Hamlin of Marshall; brother, Eugene (Betty) Leiter of Albuquerque, NM; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandsons. Friends will be received 10 -11 am Friday July 23, 2021 at Parchment United Methodist Church where services will follow at 11 am. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Battle Creek. The family thanks the staff of Rose Arbor Hospice for the compassionate care they provided. Memorial contributions may be made to Rose Arbor Hospice.
