Emmanuel Morales Emmons

Emmanuel “Manny” Morales Emmons 27 of Portage passed away Thursday August 5, 2021 on his way to Bronson Methodist Hospital after injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash. Manny was born July 5, 1994 in Kalamazoo the son of Melissa Emmons and Jesus Morales Aguliar. He attended Parchment Schools and was a welder-fabricator for Absolute Air also in Parchment. Mannys love for motorcycles started at a very young age after his step father got him involved in racing at the Old Irons. Manny rode his bike every chance he got for the rest of his life. Manny also enjoyed spending time with his best buds. Whether it was ripping around Ryan’s on his go cart, watching the Steelers or hunting elk with Cody, they were having fun. Manny cherished the time he got to spend with his son. He was a great dad. An all around great person with a heart of gold. His mother gleams with pride at the man he had become. Surviving are his son, Eli Emmons; his mother Melissa Emmons-Oliver; step father, David Oliver; his uncle Donald “Jeff" Emmons and several cousins. Friends will be received 2-3 pm Monday August 16, 2021 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home where services will follow at 3 pm.
