Evelyn J. Drummond

Evelyn J. Drummond of Kalamazoo, passed away Wednesday June 27, 2018 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Evelyn was born April 19, 1916 in Harrison County, IN the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Johns) Reuter. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Evelyn was active in Girl Scouting and she loved reading, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family. On October 7, 1938 in Hampton, VA Evelyn was united in marriage to George Drummond who preceded her in death on July 13, 1997. Also preceding her are three brothers, J. George Reuter, Jr, William (Lynn) Reuter, Robert (Alice) Reuter; sister, Almeda Reuter. Surviving are her children, George W. Drummond, Jr of Gwynn Island, VA, Evelyn (Donald) Moore of McDonough, GA, Sharon (Wilson) Hunt of Kalamazoo; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Friends will be received 5-7 pm Saturday June 30, 2018 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East “G” Avenue Parchment, MI 49004. Graveside services will be held 11 am Monday July 2, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, OH.
