Frank Joseph Capitano

Passed away September 5, 2022 at the VA in Battle Creek. Frank was born in Grand Haven, Mi on June 14, 1949 , the son of Frank and Ethel (Holland) Capitano. He was a laborer in the food industry. Frank is a veteran of the Viet Nam War having served in the U.S. Marines Corps. in his free time you would find him spending time with friends and family. Always with a helping hand if they needed something done. And on Friday and Saturdays you would find him at our local tracks Kalamazoo Speedway being the number one. He passed the passion off with his son that was something they looked forward to doing every spring and summer. He was preceded in death by siblings: Ralph in 2007, Bonnie Weese in 2010 and Nick in 2015. Frank is survived by 2 children: Aaron & Jeannine Capitano of Holt, MI and Lisa McManus of Delton, 2 grandchildren, Siblings: Anna Maze of Parchment, Frances Clark of Comstock, Mary Capitano of Grand Rapids, Tony Capitano of Kalamazoo, Carol & Bruce Kohler of Portage and Fred Capitao of FL. Several nieces & nephews. Friends will be received Monday September 12 from 10:30 until 12 Noon at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home where services will be held at 12, Noon, Fr. James Murphy Officiating. Memorials may be made to the Disabled Veterans Association.
