Homer E. Soule

Homer E. Soule of Kalamazoo passed away July 21, 2018 at Borgess Gardens in Kalamazoo. He was born in Kalamazoo on November 13, 1924 the son of Frederick and Cora (Schoolenburg) Soule. Homer was a PFC in the 9th Air Force having served in the European Theater. He retired from Eckrich Meats. He was a member of St. Augustine Cathedral. Homer was preceded in death by wife Theresa on January 28, 2000. Surviving are 5 children: David Soule of Lake Odessa, Tom & Mary of Portage, Mike Soule of Kalamazoo, Mark & Mary Jane Soule of Battle Creek, Kathy & Don of Houston, Grandchildren: Doug, Tom, Troy, Angela, Matthew and Andrew, several great grandchildren, sisters:Sally Clark of Portage and Mary & Gary Peterson, several nieces & nephews. Friends will be received at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008 (269) 343-6156 Wednesday July 25 from 2 to 4 and 6 until 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial  will be Celebrated Thursday July 26, 2018 at St. Augustine Cathedral at 10 am. A luncheon will immediately after mass at Fr. Crowley Center.
