Joyce Elaine Stout

Joyce Elaine Stout passed away at her home on May 14, 2018. She was born to Harry and Hilda (Emmons) Simington on October 21, 1932 in Otsego, Michigan. After Joyce graduated from Otsego High School she went on to marry Rodney G. Stout, a Korean War veteran, who preceded her in death on March 31, 2018. Joyce enjoyed being with her loving family, bowling, puzzles, and gardening. She also loved to knit, and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. She worked for many years at Panse Greenhouse. Joyce is preceded in death by her loving huband, Rodney Stout, and brother Thomas Simington. She is survived by her children Annette (Dan) Campagna, Dawn (Dale) VanPatten, Tim (Patty) Stout, Ted Stout; her siblings Glen (Kay) Simington, Bob (Ruth) Simington, Bonnie (Willard) Harper; five grandchildren and three great-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Redmond Funeral Home on May 18, 2018 from 5:00 pm- 8:00 pm. A funeral will take place at Redmond Funeral Home on May 19, 2018 at 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Michigan Great Lakes Chapter.
