Linda Sue Coleman

Linda Sue Coleman 77 of Comstock Township passed away Wednesday March 24, 2021 at home. Linda was born May 10, 1943 in Kalamazoo the daughter of William and Margaret (Dodson) VanErkel. She was a 1961 graduate of Loy Norrix High School, She was a life member of the Comstock VFW Auxiliary and was a strong community member and was affectionately known as the flower lady. On November, 1995 in Kalamazoo Linda was united in marriage to Gene Coleman who preceded her in death on August 5, 1997. Surviving are three sons, Dan (Mary) Hazelton of Kirkwood Missouri, Russell (Emily Dioneda) Hauck of Battle Creek, Jeff (Janet) Hauck of Paw Paw; two sisters, Margo Granger of Parchment, Carol (Craig) Jackson of Richland; Grand god-daughter, Fran Smith; several nieces & nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, April 5 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. A celebration of Linda's life will take place following graveside services at Comstock VFW Post 6252 5990 E Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49048.
