Marilyn S. Schmaltz

Marilyn Schmaltz passed away Saturday July 6th 2019 at Ascension Borgess Hospital. Marilyn was born March 19,1931 in Chicago, Ill. The daughter of Arnold and Eileen Mead. She graduated from South Chicago Community Hospital  School of Nursing in 1952 with a RN degree.Marilyn was employed as Supervisor of Nursing by the Michigan Rehabiliation Center for the Blind. On May 31st, 1952 Marilyn was united in marriage with Dr Lloyd Schmaltz who survives along with her four children Sandra(Daniel Boxwell) Schmaltz, Lloyd (Jane)Schmaltz Jr,  Linda(Brian) Walters, David Schmaltz. 4 grandchildren Kari, Laura, Alexander and Matthew. 6 great grandchildren Taylor, Cooper, Jackson, Abigail, Brayden and Phoenix. She was preceded in death by a sister Lorraine.
