Loftus, Mary Ann of Kalamazoo passed Sept 25 2021 at Glenn Arbor Battle Creek. Mary Ann was born Feb 10 1937 in Mystic Iowa. The daughter of Ike and Olive(Davis) Wakeland. She was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central, class of 1955. Mary had a brilliant career at 1st National Bank/PNC. On March 10th 1956 Mary was united in marriage to Patrick Loftus. Together they golfed, traveled U.S. National Parks on what she called their field trip. She was a avid reader and left nothing unstudied. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband Patrick E. Loftus, Jan. 12, 2016. Son in law Daniel T Phillips, April 17, 2015. She is survived by a son, Kelly(Norma) Loftus of Canoga Park CA. And daughter, Mickey Loftus-Phillips of Vermontville MI. Sister, Carol J. Rogers of Kalamazoo. Many dearly loved nieces , nephews, and step grand children. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Mary Ann's name to; Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan 7100 Stadium Dr. Kalamazoo, MI 49009. Friends will be received at Redmond Funeral Home, Nov 20th 2021 from 9.30 Am until service time at 10.30 am. Pastor Rachel Lonberg officiating. Inurnment will be at Mt.
