Mary Hermitta Ramsey

Mary H. Ramsey of Plainwell formerly of Parchment passed away Friday October 25, 2019 at home. Mary was born April 10, 1930 in Byron Center the daughter of George and Jeanette (Jocelyn) Cassady. Mary enjoyed flower and rock gardening, reading, making jewelry, crafts, crocheting, dancing, the outdoors, and she was a stand-up comic performing at party venues and the State Theater. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, James Argo and Jake Ramsey; 11 siblings. Surviving are four children, Guy (Wanda) Argo of Portage, Diane (Don who proceeded in death) Tyrrell of Allegan, Lisa (Rance Cassady) Argo of Pearce, AZ, Allen (Maria Mion) Ramsey of Kalamazoo; step-son, Thomas (Nanette) Ramsey Benton Arkansas; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews. A memorial services will be held 11:00 Am on Saturday November 9, 2019 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home, 2300 East “G” Ave. Parchment, MI 49004 (269) 349-7735. Interment will be at a later date in Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
