Melinda Sue Smith

Melinda Sue Smith 42 of Kalamazoo passed away Tuesday August 22, 2023 at Alamo AFC. Melinda was born August 30, 1980 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Louis and Susan (Carnes) Smith. She was a 1998 graduate of Parchment High School, a member of Haven Church, she resided at Moman AFC for many years and worked at MRC industries and Art Works and also enjoyed working with socializing kittens. Surviving are a brother, Matt (Jill) Smith; two aunts, Dorothy (Paul) Diefenbach, Linda (George) Boomers; uncle, Paul Carnes; several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received 1-2 pm Saturday August 26, 2023 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home where services will follow at 2 pm.
