Paul Vincent Cusano

Paul V. Cusano, Sr. of Kalamazoo passed away Wednesday December 23, 2020 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Paul was born January 3, 1927 in Kalamazoo the son of Angelo and Constance (Smith) Cusano. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in WW II. Paul retired from Kalamazoo Public Schools as a lead custodian. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, VFW and American Legion and enjoyed traveling. On January 14, 1950 in Kalamazoo Paul was united in marriage to the former Evelyn M. Howell who preceded him in death on April 10, 2014. Also preceding him were a brother, Charles Cusano and sister, Rose Godfrey. Surviving are two children, Connie (Brian) Pavey of Kalamazoo, Paul (Cindy) Cusano, Jr. of Kalamazoo; brother, Thomas (Florence) Cusano of Florida; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; several nieces & nephews. Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Saturday April 17, 2021 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or the Leukemia Foundation.
