Peter Carl Christianson

Peter Carl Christianson, 61, passed away on February 3, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada after a second battle with cancer. Born in Dayton, Ohio, Pete's family moved to Las Vegas in 1966 when his father was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. Pete had been a member of Teamsters 631 in Las Vegas for more than 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Major Peter B. and Carole Jean Christianson; his sister, Lori Shwedel. He is survived by his Brother-In-Law Robert Shwedel; nieces Andrea Roth, Sarah Varosh, Molly Shwedel, and Bri Shwedel; and his cousin David Feldman. Funeral arrangements are through Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo, Michigan. A private burial will be held at Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
