Rodney Howard Harley

Rodney H. Harley of Kalamazoo passed away Thursday December 17, 2020 at home. Rodney was born October 17, 1956 in Kalamazoo the son of William and Dena (Paradine) Nichols. He worked for the Public Works Dept for the City of Kalamazoo and he enjoyed westerns, playing cards, music, watching Jerry Springer, The Voice, The Masked Singer and Maury. Surviving are six children, Lenora (Jesse) Martin, Rodney (Eleanor) McElvain, Brandy (Terrill) Moore, Chad (Andrea) McElvain, Maria (Andrew) DeGlopper, Markus (Selena) McElvain; 25 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; four brothers, William Nichols, Michael Nichols Robert Nichols, Daniel Harley; three sisters, Sharon Nichols, Hanna Nichols, Yolanda James; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Joe Nichols, Fred Marshal; sister, Rose Nichols. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
