Roxie Louise Hubbard

March 10, 1932 — October 27, 2018

Passed away on Oct. 27, 2018, with her family by her side. Roxie was born on March 10, 1932 in Alanson, MI. She was the daughter of David and Pauline (Myers) Ramsby. She was employed as a legal secretary in Hillsdale, MI and she retired from Hillsdale College. Roxie was a member of Hillsdale Free Methodist Church and later in life she attended the Portage Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed watercolor painting and gardening. She also enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and spending time with her family. Roxie was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Alan Ramsby. Surviving are a sister: Loretta Spangler-Smith, three children: Christine (Michael) Palmer of Orlando, FL, Mark (Pamela) Hubbard of Portage and Gary (Sonja) Hubbard of Portage, twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, along with several nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held at 11:00 am. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Bruce Howell on Friday November 2, 2018 at Redmond Funeral Home 4100 S. Westnedge Kalamazoo, MI 49008. (269) 343-6156.  Burial will be directly following the service at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park 3941 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI  49008.  Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. www.redmondfuneralhomes.net
