Stuart Arnold Martin, 70 of Comstock, passed away on October 13, 2020 at Ascension Borgess Hospital after an extended hospital stay. Stuart was born in Kalamazoo to Ben and Loraine (Stacey) Martin on October 11, 1950. He worked as a heavy machine operator for many years until his retirement. Stuart was a handyman who enjoyed riding, racing and working on motorcycles and cars as well as fishing and spending time with his family & friends. Stuart is survived by his three children Stuart Rodney Martin of Kalamazoo, Tracy (Steve) Heighton of Galesburg, Travis Martin of Kalamazoo; his brother Stacey (Debra) Martin of Kalamazoo; his sister Sandy (Russ) Kay of Kalamazoo; several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by parents and his sister Sharon Thompson. A visitation will be held at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home on Monday October 19, 2020 at 1:00 pm with funeral services following at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Comstock. Parchment Redmond Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements. Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
