Susan Martha Belt

Susan M. Belt of Kalamazoo passed away Sunday April 14, 2019 at home. Susan was born January 13, 1956 in Kalamazoo the daughter of John and Stella (Beedle) Vermeulen. She retired as a postal carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and enjoyed painting, music, and binge watching Netflix.  Her separated husband Charles “Rusty” Belt survives. Also surviving are four children, Nicholas (Kari) Garman of Kalamazoo, Judson Garman of Kalamazoo, Robert (Crystal) Belt of Spartanburg, SC, Carrie Marie of Battle Creek; brother, Jim Vermeulen of Fond du lac, WI; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Burn Camp. Arrangements by Parchment Redmond Funeral Home
