Terri Sue Sims

Terri Sue Sims 69 of Kalamazoo passed away Sunday September 3, 2023 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Terri was born December 14, 1953 in Battle Creek the daughter of Earl and Evelyn (Cook) Joppie. She graduated from Battle Creek Lakeview High School and was formerly employed by Borgess and Bronson Hospitals as a unit clerk and she enjoyed cross stitching, sewing, gardening, and spending time with her sweet dog, Baylee. On June 8, 2008 in Kalamazoo Terri was united in marriage to Charles Sims who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Kacy Sullivan; three sisters, Jan Taylor, Judy Morey, Sandi Whitaker; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lorelle Sullivan. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm Tuesday September 12, 2023 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home.
