Travis W. Gates

Travis W. Gates of Kalamazoo passed away unexpectedly Sunday June 11, 2017 in Kalamazoo. Travis was born December 8, 1989 in Monticello, IN the son of James and Catherine (Marlatt) Gates. He enjoyed music and spending time with family and friends. Surviving are his children, Riley Corbin of Vicksburg, Travis Gates, Jr of Deland, FL; mother, Catherine (Orne) Marshall of Portage; sisters, Candy Russell of Kalamazoo, Sally (Josh) Smith of Mattawn, Brenda (Steve) Guerin of Deland, FL, Felicia Gates of Kalamazoo; brothers, James Gates of Ionia, Trevor Gates of Portage. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Adam Gates. Friends will be received 12 pm to 1 pm Friday June 16, 2017 at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 S.
