Vanda Leah Harris

Vanda L. Harris passed away Saturday October 12, 2019 at home. Vanda was born February 16, 1932 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Amby and Beatrice (Sudman) Sines. She was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo.  Vanda worked at the City News Agency, Shakespeare Company, and Bower’s Lighter Company in the 1950’s and at Redwood & Ross in the 1970’s.  On May 20, 1953 in Kalamazoo Vanda was united in marriage to Basil Harris who preceded her in death on August 8, 2019. Also preceding her in death; brother, Patrick Sines; sister, Melissa Bowker; niece, Linda Jo Martin. Surviving are two children, James Harris of Kalamazoo, Nancy (Steve) Goodwin of Orlando, FL; two grandsons, Ryan and Adam Goodwin of Orlando, FL; sister, Sharon Greene of Indian Harbour Beach, FL; nephews David Nelson, Michael Sines, Ted Greene Jr, and Terry Sines.
