Velma Katherine Brittan

Velma K. Brittan of Schoolcraft, passed away Sunday April 21, 2019 at home. Velma was born November 12, 1926 in St. Joseph the daughter of George and Eva (Nickel) Buller. She was a member of Schoolcraft Assembly of God Church and enjoyed crafts. On November 1, 1952 in St. Joseph Velma was united in marriage to John L. Brittan who preceded her in death on February 28, 2019. Also preceding her were five brothers and sisters. Surviving are two sons, Jeffrey (Karen) Brittan of Kalamazoo and Jerry (Kathy) Brittan of Mattawan; five grandchildren, Jason, Sarah, Michael, Kevin, Luke; two sisters, Loraine Fitz and Margie (Keith) Hetrick; several nieces & nephews. Private services will be held at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Arrangements by Redmond Funeral Home, Kalamazoo.
