Violet Helen Topoll

November 28, 1923 — August 10, 2019

Violet was born in Kalamazoo on November 28, 1923, the daughter of Joseph and Theresa (Grevich) Galich. On August 1, 1946 she married Walter T. Topoll Sr. who preceded her in death on March 29, 1959. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Granddaughter Kathy, and brothers Joseph and Robert. She retired from National WaterLift after 23 years of service. Violet was an avid reader, A WONDEFUL cook and baker, a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Right of Life, National Shrine of St. Jude, and AARP. Surviving are her three children; Walter (Judy) of Kalamazoo, Constance (Micheal) Kaminski of Kalamazoo, and Michael (Sally) Topoll of Hastings, Michigan; sisters-in-law Rosalie Galich and Gertrude Galich; grandchildren Tom Topoll, Michael Kaminski, Christina (Micheal) Town, Michael (Kelly) Topoll, Nicole Kaminski, Timothy (Ann) Topoll; great-grandchildren Connor and Kaitlin Jezdimir, Davis Town, Hannah, Nathan, Lillian, Brayden and Gavin Topoll; A very special nephew Rob Galich, as well as several other nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Tuesday August 13, 2019 and burial immediately followed at Mount Olivet Cemetery. The Family  expresses their sincere gratitude to the administration, nurses and staff at Life Care Center in Plainwell, Michigan, for the comfort, love and care they gave Violet.
