Michael Opie Taylor

Michael Taylor 67 of Kalamazoo passed away Friday November 4, 2022 at home. Michael was born September 22, 1955 in Pineville, WV the son of Kyle and Joy (Casteel) Taylor. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from Checker Motors as a quality engineer. Michael enjoyed poetry, writing Christian music, playing guitar and welding. Surviving are two sons, Jason Taylor and Steven Taylor; father, Kyle Taylor, three grandchildren, Sophia, Lola, Wyatt; sister, Judy (Ed) Allen. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joy Taylor; brother, Scott Taylor. A Memorial service will be held at a later date at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
